Time Frame:
How quickly do you want to move on purchasing a home? Do you need to move within the next 30 days – or can you take your time and be selective?

House Style:
Ranch – easy, single-level living; they can be small and cozy or just as extravagant and sprawling as multi-level mansions.

Colonial – styles vary: Sidehall Colonial, just as it sounds, the entry sits to one side or the other of the main living areas;

Center Hall Colonial, prevalent in this area, this offers a more dramatic entry. Colonials have living spaces on the main floor and bedrooms upstairs.

Cape-Cod – generally offers living areas and at least one bedroom downstairs with the remainder of the bedrooms upstairs. They tend to be on the smaller size and have a very quaint, cottage-like appearance that many people find very appealing. It has been said that this is the easiest style of house to build on to.

Contemporary – characterized by dramatic, sweeping lines, strategic use of windows to optimize light exposure; sculpturally abstract appearance from the outside.
