the best. Here each county has its own school system and many of these are
leaders in innovative educational programs. There are many special programs for

Englewood Cliffs

This district has two schools:
North Cliff School, which includes grades 1 to 3, and
Upper School, which includes grades 4 to 8. High School students
go to Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood. The district is continuously
updating its curriculum, with science now being taught at every grade level and
journal writing being an English requirement. From grades 3 to 8 students study
Spanish and 8th graders study Latin.

Schools |

Cresskill has an excellent school system,
with about 95 percent of the high school graduates going on to college.
Students are divided between the Junior/Senior High School and two elementary
schools, the Merritt School, and Edward H. Bryan School. Advanced placement
courses in English literature, mathematics, history, and foreign languages are
available on the high-school level.
